Piracy: Enough Is Enough

Piracy: Enough Is Enough v 2

Almost every day seafarers are being kidnapped and exposed to an increasing risk of injury or even death. As you read this, seafarers transporting the world’s goods are going through areas where the risk of pirate attack is increasing and right now families are suffering worry and uncertainty for their loved ones.

In 2010, the ITF and an unprecedented shipping industry coalition of partners helped to gather over 900,000 petition signatures calling on governments to act against piracy. Now in 2011, we need to keep the momentum going – visit the new campaign website Save Our Seafarers and send a protest letter to your government now.

Be sure also to visit the Eunavfor and NATO shipping websites for further information and current updates on piracy.
