Slovenian sham union’s sub-standard agreements dismissed by major Brazilian oil company 

Notorious sham union, the International Seafarers’ Union (ISU), has been rejected by Petrobras (Petróleo Brasil

New figures released by the ITF reveal that vessel abandonments have surged nearly 33% year on year.

By May this year, 158 cases of vessel abandonment had been recorded, up from 119 at the same point in 2024.

On 11 March trade unions in Finland began a wave of strike action which has closed all cargo handling in Finnish ports and halted freight traffic on railways. The strike is currently intended to continue for two weeks.
